Create or integrate a social media 2.0 platform into plane seating, allowing customers to voluntarily integrate their facebook or other social media profiles. This will allow them to select their seats according to people that share most relevant and common profession and lifestyle. Can be used as a big networking tool. Can be a big disaster as well. on virgin air, you can chat a person in another seat. I tried to chat my mom 5 rows up but I counted wrong and got a businessman. i think he thought I was asking him out, even tho I said “mom”. so you can meet new people this way
